The grinding mechanism cuts coffee beans in a very unique way. The grind result is extremely exact and very uniform with the least amount of coffee dust. Both ring and core are cut out of a solid block of high-alloyed, high-nitrogen stainless steel. This makes the Nitro Blade very sharp and strong with excellent edge retention and wear resistance. The center axle is fixed and supported by two micro ball bearings for better distribution of force and grind momentum. Both micro ball bearings are encapsulated with rubber for protection and smooth operation. 100% Made in Germany represents the usage of stainless steel for all metal parts, glass for the jar, BPA-free TRITAN plastic for the engine frame, and real wood for coating and knob.
